Upcoming Events

What are we doing in our lives to protect the environment?

Sunday, January 29 at 11:30 am after meeting. We will have the results of an energy audit of the meetinghouse and a report on home energy audits by members. It will be a chance to exchange ideas and experiences regarding what each of us is doing to protect the environment. David Currie will be the moderator.

Food Inc.

Film and Discussion, Tuesday, February 21 at 7:00pm in the meeting house. This very powerful film will provide a good introduction to many of the issues regarding our food supply and the environment.

Next Spiritual Book Group

The Spiritual Book group will meet at Peg and Bob's house at 6 53rd Street Plum Island this Thursday night (December 1st) at 7 pm. We will discuss our favorites of John Greenleaf Whittier's poetry.

Ongoing Events

Donations of Food Desperately Needed -

When you do grocery shopping, please remember to pick up things for the food pantry. Donations of Cash are also needed. Drop off your food donations at the Meeting house or bring directly to the Pettingill House, 13 Lafayette Road in Salisbury.  They have asked especially for children's snacks, cereals and juice boxes.

Winter clothing and blankets are also welcome.
